Postiga hobbles off as reserves draw

Helder Postiga was taken off injured last night as the reserves drew 3-3 with Watford at Broadhall Way, Stevenage. The Portuguese Under-21 international limped off with a potential thigh injury after just fifteen minutes and Chris Hughton, in charge on the night, said that 'Helder was a bit stiff in training on Monday morning... the good news is that its the stiffness again... we'll wait and see'. On the positive front, Christian Ziege again completed his second full game in a week while Gary Doherty also saw the game out.

The game ebbed and flowed with chances galore, and Spurs found themselves two behind after 35 minutes, but pulled one back through left-winger Johnnie Jackson after some trickery from Stephane Dalmat. The one goal deficit became two once again shortly after the break, but on the hour substitute John O'Hara scored with his first touch before Jackson scored his second with a late penalty.

Team: Burch, Marney, Ziege, O'Donoghue, Doherty, Dalmat (O'Hara, 60), Hughes, Toda, Jackson, Postiga (Yeates, 15), Barnard. Subs not used: Hirschfield, Henry, Bowditch
