Postiga in drugs scandal

Helder Postiga is today at the centre of yet another drugs scandal that has hit football. Postiga and Portuguese Under 21 counterpart Cristiano Ronaldo were reported to have been approached for random tests after their aggregrate victory over France in a Euro 2004 qualifier. Portuguese officials rejected these approaches as valid and refused to allow the two players to take the tests. The French Football Association has now taken the matter to FIFA who are set to review the situation.
