Reid up for Carr test

Reid still waiting to score his first goal after six appearances for Spurs.

Reid, who provided a quarter of Nottingham Forest’s goals during the first half of the season, is yet to score since making the switch to the Premiership. Republic of Ireland team-mates Shay Given and Stephen Carr will both be on the opposite side at White Hart Lane, but that won’t deter the winger from getting forward.

"I'm hoping I'm going to score a few goals soon. I'm pretty disappointed that I haven't so far but hopefully it won't be too far away," said Reid.

The 22-year-old, who signed for the best part of £4.5m in January, will be up against Carr, who makes his first return to his former club since his £2m move last summer.

"I'd like think he is going to have to look after me and play well to keep me from creating things, but of course he can get forward and cause us problems as well," he added.
