The cash-strapped club who want £10m for the 24-year-old creative midfielder are keeping the player and his agent informed, but by Rosicky’s own admission "they'll need to decrease the price if they wish to sell."
"I know that the price is a problem. Borussia are obviously requesting too much.
"There have been rumours that I could be sold to this or that club for a while now.
"The thing is that, so far, all transfer talks have collapsed because none of the clubs have been able to agree on a price," said Rosicky.
