He admitted to feeling disappointed Spurs boss Martin Jol didn’t give him another chance between returning from the long injury lay off and joining Portsmouth on loan for the rest of the season.
Routledge said: "I felt low not playing and lost all confidence in myself. I couldn't believe that I was just sitting on the bench every week after being so unlucky with my injury in the first game of the season."
