Even by Spurs Standards this is pretty impressive, Daniel Levy must be absolutely gutted at this moment in time, having worked so diligently to get him on board in the first place.

Nothing been formally stated as to the reason for this very sudden and unexpected departure, other than “Private issues with regards to his personal life”.

Luckily we have a ready made replacement in the shape of Martin Jol so presumably he will now fulfill the head coach role, only time will tell if this will be a temporary or permanent basis, but to date Martin has excelled as a No. 2 rather than the main man.


It’s certainly never dull at Spurs (although it might be quite nice for one season)
