Dimitar Berbatov has returned early from international duty with Bulgaria after suffering an adductor strain in the second half of their Euro qualifier in Romania on Saturday.
Martin Jol said: "It was difficult, what with having the Everton result and then the players going off on international duty."
"Unfortunately, Dimitar got injured in the Bulgaria match and has come back."
