Sheringham future hinges on Euro qualification

Spurs look like they want to wait and see if they can gain European qualification before deciding on the England strikers future and even if he is offered an extra season he could be asked to take a huge pay-cut.

"I have spoken to Teddy about his contract situation and told him we will now review it nearer the end of the season when we will have a better idea of our position regarding Europe," said Spurs boss Glen Hoddle.
