Son Heung-min's Best Ever Tottenham Performances - Ranked

Since joining the club in 2015, Son Heung-min and Tottenham Hotspur have been on some journey.

The South Korean was signed by former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino, who was reportedly a huge fan of the player for some years and even wanted to bring him to Southampton. Once Poch finally had the forward at his disposal, Son has produced some dazzling moments in a Lilywhite shirt, and continues to shine under current manager Jose Mourinho - most recently with his four-goal haul against Southampton.

From the stunning strikes to the solo runs, here's Son's best ever Tottenham performances ranked.

7. Stunner vs West Ham (2018)

The deafening sound of Wembley Stadium on a derby day was quickly silenced when Pedro Obiang's long-range rocket put West Ham ahead.

With Spurs struggling to find a breakthrough for much of the game, Son answered in spectacular fashion.

The South Korean conjured up a hard-hit shot from distance of his own to bring the hosts level, saving Spurs from a derby defeat to the Hammers.

6. Solo Run vs Chelsea (2018)

After receiving the ball down the right flank, Son outpaced Jorginho before cutting inside past David Luiz. The forward then tucked the ball past Kepa Arrizabalaga and into the Chelsea goal.

The incredible solo run was Tottenham's third goal of the evening, with Spurs winning the game 3-1.

5. Decisive Strike vs Manchester City (2019)

Tottenham hosted Manchester City in the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League quarter-final first-leg, and Son's strike put Spurs ahead in the 78th minute.

The winger kept Christian Eriksen's over-hit pass in play, fooling the City defence, before smashing the ball underneath the diving Ederson.

We all know the fine-margins involved in the Champions League, and it's fair to say that the 1-0 win for Spurs in the first-leg proved to be decisive.

4. Into The History Books vs Crystal Palace (2019)

Spurs hosted Crystal Palace in April 2019 in the opening fixture at the shiny new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The curtain-raiser was a cagey affair, but Son's goal in the second-half sparked a collective outcry of emotion from the jubilant Tottenham fans, who had waited for so long to witness a competitive match at the £1bn arena.

Son's name is now in the history books at the club as the first goalscorer at their new state-of-the-art home.

3. Double At The Etihad vs Manchester City (2019)

In the second-leg of Tottenham's UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie with Manchester City, Son's two early strikes helped Spurs end with an aggregate victory through away goals.

The game was an attacking affair, with both sides scoring two goals each in just over ten minutes of play - and Son's double, combined with Fernando Llorente's second-half goal, sent Spurs into the semi-finals.

The rest is history.

2. Four Goals vs Southampton (2020)

After a tough 45 minutes for Spurs at Southampton, Son came to life with four composed finishes to send Mourinho's men home with a 5-2 win.

All four were assisted by Kane, with Son waiting to pounce on the Saints' high defensive line.

Son became the third player in Spurs' Premier League history to score four or more goals in an away fixture, joining Kane and Jurgen Klinsmann.

1. Goal of the Season vs Burnley (2019)

When Son finishes his footballing career and takes a look back at his greatest goals, this one will likely top the lot.

A remarkable solo run from the outskirts of Hugo Lloris' area to inside the Burnley box saw the South Korean star pick up the Premier League Goal of the Season award.

Clocking 86.8 yards in 11.1 seconds, Son's goal happened in a flash as he twisted his way through helpless Burnley players.

Spurs went on to win the game 5-0.
