Spurs and Hammers with injury doubts

New West Ham boss Alan Pardew faces a selection crisis at the club in the run up to the Carling Cup clash on Wednesday. The Hammers, who drew nil nil at Cardiff on Saturday are certain to be without David Connolly, Steve Lomas and Rufus Brevett who are all set to be out for at least three weeks. Robbie Stockdale and Hayden Mullins are both ineligible for the tie while Thomas Repka, not surprisingly, is suspended.

For Spurs, Paul Konchesky is ineligible, Freddie Kanoute and Simon Davies are both out, while Darren Anderton and Mauricio Taricco both picked up knocks in Sunday's draw with Middlesbrough. David Pleat may also be tempted to give Helder Postiga a rare start.
