The left-back has impressed Pleat during his one month loan spell at White Hart Lane and he is keen to extend the deal.
"I want Paul for a further loan period," he said.
"We are very short of cover in defence with injuries to Ledley King and Gary Doherty."
Koncheski's loan spell at Spurs saw Chris Perry move in the opposite direction to the Valley and the Spurs defender has also expressed his keeness to remain with Alan Curbishley's side.
