Manchester City striker star Emmanuel Adebayor has reportedly agreed a season long loan deal with Spurs and is set to sign for them.
The Togo ace appears to have little if any future at Manchester City and he has been looking for a move although his massive wages, reportedly ?170,000 a week, have proved to be a stumbling block.
Spurs have now agreed to pay a percentage of those wages, although neither side is willing to reveal exactly how much that will be, and a year long loan will go though for the 27-year-old as long as he passes a medical which is due today.
Spurs play City this weekend but even if the deal is done in time he will not be allowed to face his parent club.
