Spurs still having to play waiting game

Prior to the victory over Leicester City on Sunday, Premiership Plus put up a graphic containing twelve possible candidates for the vacant managerial post. Many fans could be excused for turning to person next to them and asking 'Who the devil (or words to that effect) is Mourinho'? Only today did many of us find out that he in fact, and is to remain, the boss of FC Porto, the side that beat Celtic in last years UEFA Cup Final in Seville and the man that reluctantly got rid of Helder Postiga. Mourinho has released a statement after his sides 3-2 victory over Marseille in the Champions League saying; 'I cannot possibly leave now'. However, he did not rule out the possibility of a move in the summer, and with David Pleat providing some promising results, it may not be until then that Spurs are able to get their man. Whoever it may be.
