Time to wipe smile from Wigan's face

From The Daily Mirror: Jimmy Bullard believes Wigan have proved the Premiership is not all it's cracked up to be.

The midfielder scored as his side were only just edged out by Arsenal in a 3-2 defeat at the JJB Stadium on Saturday.

And Bullard believes that performance, on the back of a six game winning run, shows that sides can step up from the Championship and look at home in the top flight.

He said: "I think it is a thin line between the top of the Championship and the bottom of the Premiership. It has not been as big a step up as some of us expected - although there is a noticeable difference when you come to the top teams.

"The positive thing for us is that we have a winning mentality going at Wigan, as all we have known is success with getting two promotions in three season.
