Tottenham predicted lineup vs Everton - Premier League

Third-placed Tottenham Hotspur host Everton in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

Antonio Conte's side have won every match played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season, coming into the weekend on a run of nine consecutive home victories stretching back to May last term.

Here's the XI Conte may deploy to push Tottenham's winning run into double digits.

GK: Hugo Lloris - It was at home to Everton two years ago that Lloris had to be held back while shouting at Son Heung-min as the team trudged off at half-time. Jose Mourinho, naturally, called the whole thing "beautiful".

CB: Cristian Romero - The Argentine was treated to a fleeting spell in his "favourite position" in the middle of the back-three after Eric Dier went off against Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday. However, with Dier set to return, Romero is expected to resume his role on the right.

CB: Eric Dier - Much is made - often by the player himself - of Dier's time in Sporting CP's academy. The 28-year-old also spent six months with Everton's under-18s in 2011, winning the Premier League equivalent for that age bracket.

CB: Ben Davies - After appearing in 15 of the first 16 Premier League home games under Conte, Davies could be in line for a return to the side following a spell on the sidelines with injury.

RWB: Ivan Perisic - The man who covered more ground than any other player at the last World Cup may rack up a few kilometres this Saturday evening.

CM: Rodrigo Bentancur - The largest margin of victory Bentancur has enjoyed at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium came in a 5-0 win against Everton last March.

CM: Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg - Mirroring the faith Conte has put in Hojbjerg, the Dane stressed last week: "Number one is to always trust the manager."

LWB: Ryan Sessegnon - In 2018, Sessegnon became the first player outside the top flight to be nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Year award after impressing for Fulham.

RW: Richarlison - The former Toffee has the chant Everton fans used to serenade him with tattooed behind his ear.

ST: Harry Kane - Tottenham's talisman has scored six Premier League braces against Everton across the previous six seasons.

LW: Son Heung-min - Against Frankfurt in the Champions League, Kane teed up Son to fire Spurs level, taking the tally of goals the pair have combined for to a staggering 50 across all competitions.
