Bafetimbi Gomis has now seen out his contract and is available... yes you heard it on a free.
Many will raise that they do not believe he is capable of playing at the highest of levels, but many clubs have tried to sign him in the past and failed to lure him away.
In the 2013-2013 season we failed to sign the striker permanently and on loan, so it is of no surprise if we now signed him for free!
It is rare to find a bargain, but to have a French international striker capable of scoring with no price tag at all we would be crazy to turn him down.
He will not be the marquee signing that many would expect, but it is certainly a good start to have a front line of Ade, Soldado and Gomis (not to mention a potential super subb in the making Kane).
Look around Spurs fans if we are to spend money on the likes of Lallana and Shaw (which again we are unlikely to succeed with), we must save money by find potential gems for free.
