The next question is to whether the reports of Adebayor getting a huge contract (similar to that at City) over the original £115k per week that was originally mooted.
I for one (and I know I will take some flack for this) am glad that he is on his way back. Although Ade is a self confessed mercenary of sorts I have the upmost respect for someone that is honest about how they view the game (lets face it, it is a business nowadays). Most importantly with the whole sale changes coming about we do need for some stability within the team
This still raises questions over Spurs investment being received, as there must be a huge amount added to the pot with a defender (it will be 2 once Fryers fee is agreed with a tribunal) , a midfielder and soon to be a forward/ keeper. I will be keeping a close eye out for some solid whispers on that front.
