Are we about to miss on another target

Luuk De Jong is being linked with a move to Newcastle for £8million and I believe we are missing out on another great target if Sky Sports are correct (oh and if Luuk wants to go). This dutch prodigy seems to be another target that we could miss out on, and at only £8million for a 21 year old that has scored 39 goals in 76 games that is really worth a go, is it not?
Capped at every level for the dutch and more importantly scoring at every level as, I fail to see why there is no solid offers coming in from Levy?
I have to be honest in that I have not seen more than a hand full of games from the young guy, but he looked good, maybe I just need to see him play to make a better judgement, but he has been talked about more than most players in the dutch league so it is a bizarre one.
Either way I really fear that we are going to miss the beat on many players without another manager in the bag. If Levy knew which way they were going, why was there not another man in place (come on people think about it, its not the actions of a good chairman not to have someone in place). If you have no manager in place for the opening of the transfer market then you can except a big flop going forward. A manager needs time to bring in players they feel will help, get to know the current players and get the players to know the new tactics.
Although I am far from a Levy fan at present (not saying that there is no room to turn me Daniel), I really am struggling to understand the rash sudden knee jerk decisions of recent need some big reassurances.
Come on you Spurs!!
