After 4 wins 1 loss and 1 draw in December AVB has been rewarded for the team's hard work with the Manager of the Month award.
Currently sitting 3rd in the table AVB has grabbed the chance to show what he is capable of. Many of the media sources as well as Chelsea (and its fans) have for the time being been left with egg on their face.
AVB was sacked by Chelsea in 2012 after Roman Abramovich lost his patience with the manager and scrapped the long term plans that were meant to be put in place.
Since his move to Tottenham he has now managed to show Chelsea and the rest of the premier league why it was a rash decision and his time at Porto was not just "luck".
I for one would like to congratulate AVB on behalf of Spurs Mad and wish him and the team well for the rest of the season.
