Back to winning ways

In terms of the result 1-0 I feel that it does not give a true representation of our dominance and controlling performance for the game.

I was impressed the most with Adebayor, although he may not have scored or set up a goal he was an absolute workhorse. One minute operating the left flank and around the box, then he's tracking back and defending. I was gutted when he was subbed off with an injury!

Also given his performance I feel that I must speak on the positive side for Gallas this week! He played a good game and held his positioning well. I am not going to get ahead of myself here, but I have a duty to put my hand up and say how well he played.

Vertonghen was in fine form as he has been all season (especially his goal), but I was more interested in a solid performance from Walker, I really hope that he is finding his feet again!

Lennon and Naughton failed to penetrate the Swansea side and played some terrible balls across the box (if Lennon had have got his passing right we would have seen a much higher scoring game).

Dembele played well and although Sandro was looking great one minute and awful the next I am still quite happy with the two linking up together now. Dempsey managed to win a few free kicks and got himself into some great positions, but he failed to convert anything.

Another clean sheet for Lloris will certainly boost his confidence and he has really started to look the commanding keeper that I knew he was. Off his line fast and committing correctly on each occasion yesterday a clean sheet was deserved.

Townsend looked very energetic upon his substitution and won the free kick that resulted in Vertonghen's goal. I have always felt that Townsend has the potential and given some game time I think he will come on more and more.

Finally we saw the return of our great leader Scott Parker (probably the biggest news on the injury front). It was such a late on sub that he had no chance to put an impact onto anything, but great to see him there.

The impressive thing about our display yesterday and its been picked up by everyone... its our pressure high up. We worked Swansea and ourselves hard. I was surprised though at times that we managed to leave a gap between the midfield and defense at times (which Swansea did exploit), however with Parker back I think this will now be a gap filled.

It was a slight concern that we did not convert more chances, but it is difficult to get in the box for each chance when you are putting so much constant pressure on the opposition. Its Bale and Lennon that you would rely on for this, but Bale was out and Lennon had an off day.

Swansea to be fair although had small shot tally were tough opposition. Laudrup has worked wonders with the team and IMHO has taken them on a step further. Swansea were going to be the toughest opposition after Everton and seeing the result and the display I think we may push on for 3rd.

Shot of the match was without a doubt Kyle Walker's shot that Tremmel probably didn’t have much of an idea of due to the pace of the shot! Shame the clearer chance Kyle had when put in by Defoe on the right was converted with as much conviction (it was my worst shot of the game).

This game has shown major signs of AVB's tactics and if anyone wants to carry on complaining use the Facebook board or email me direct as we are without a doubt looking very strong now (without Bale, Parker, Dawson and BAE).

Tis the season to be jolly and one more win before Christmas day is a great gift to all Spurs fans!
