The interesting thing is that us fans are expected to believe that Bale has a BIG hand in all this.
I have sources saying it's Bale, no one in his camp are aware of these comments, Tap'em Up Madrid have made it up and of course Marca have made it up.
The reason for Bale's side being quiet is that Bale's agent has supposedly shot him and his player in the foot by stating that his client has said he wants a move and its because of promises not kept.
Bale is now caught in the middle of what could be a barrage of trolling on Twitter and more hate mail than Sol Campbell (which is unjustified however you look at it). Bale's agent is believed to have thought that he could engineer a move for his client after being offered a hefty fee from Tap'em Up Madrid to push it all through.
As it stands Bale has a new contract with BT (that has serious repercussions if he pulled out) and Tottenham have major commitments that allowing Bale to leave would be difficult to get out of (such as promises to Paulinho that Bale will not be sold this season).
Levy has not flown back from Miami as originally reported as he has said himself he is not willing to sell.
What I think is absolutely hilarious is that this 'agent' has done more damage than good now. So if his client was looking to move to Tap'em Up Madrid then it has now become difficult. His agent has now made him out to be a complete liar!
Bale is not one for the lime light and although any move would grab the headlines, the way in which this has unfolded will have serious problems on a personal level.
It goes to show again that agents are so intent on getting their money that they are stupid enough to send their clients reputation to the slaughterhouse.
Of course Bale cannot deny these comments as they have in fact come from his rep and it would make him look incredibly stupid to stand up and say his agent did it without his consent. Although I would sack him and bring a new one in releasing news that his old agent was sacked as he went rogue.
I would like to think that this is the case and that it is a completely idiotic rogue agent and Tap'em Up Madrid are just doing their best to do whatever it takes to get a deal.
