Although Madrid and Arsenal fans have taken to the net to say that Bale should and is off to Spain they could not be further from the truth.
It is believed that the reason for Bale's acceptance of the contract hinged on whether Champions League was achieved. What I mean by this is whether certain clauses needed to be included and how to word them.
Bale is happy at the club and all involved have made that clear.
More and more news articles are being published that Bale has signed a new contract. The truth is, is that is has always been signed just amendments would be made dependant on the season finale.
Now that Champions League is out of the window the contract has been re-drafted and announcement is expected this week.
Well I for one am happy to have this news sooner rather than later, but I am happy for bale to take his time on confirming this (it makes no difference to me).
So believe the stories I have been saying it for weeks now, its all ok and Bale stays.
