The French hotshot has been linked with Spurs for some time now and notably turned down a move in January.
As expected it is a complete turn around from AVB's comments that we were not in for any more strikers, but it will go a long way to ease the fans concerns.
It is also a good addition to the French contingency of the squad with Kaboul and Lloris (about to sign).
