Fulham 0-3 Spurs

One pundit who shall remain unnamed (due to his previous club) has predicted a 3-0 to Spurs, thanks Mr M.

Interesting as we have only scored more than two goals against a premier league side once this season (which was Villa in the cup).

Albeit the signs are starting to come through for Spurs, but they must concentrate tonight and stick to the tactics from the Utd game.

Fulham have lost their past 6 games and have since sacked manager Jol. Meulensteen has now replaced Jol (even though he had come to the club just 3 weeks ago). The team are likely to be in no mood for rolling over so we have 2 London clubs both looking to turn their fortunes around and put out a show stopping performance.

Spurs have won the last 3 games at Craven Cottage, although in the most recent meeting lost at WHL 1-0 to a Berbatov goal!

Fulham are yet to score more than 1 goal in a game at home and this should suit a Tottenham side that were keeping clean sheets for fun. If the side can get back to that tight concentrated form then you would expect for Fulham to finish the game without scoring. Spurs are searching for their first win in 4 games (2 losses and 2 draws) and only managed 2 goals in all 4 games (both coming against Utd). The really good stat is that Tottenham are only 1 of 3 teams to reach double figures in points won away from home this season.

If Soldado starts tonight I can only imagine that the striker will be desperate to score and with a team as low as Fulham you would expect it. Fulham are joint first in goals conceded in the league so again could you ask for a better opponent to face?

With a new found confidence, a team that has found the wings and convincing link up between Paulinho and Soldado I can only say I expect to see some celebrations from Soldado tonight. Also for me it's a great opportunity to bring Lamela back in. The City game was not the best game to put him in, but AVB was under pressure to play the clubs record signing.

For me I would like to see a 3-0 win and a hat-trick from Roberto!
