How can we spend £40-£60million this season?

Ok forgetting everything we know about getting round this limp rule I would like to see how you fans feel that a club can get around this issue?

Last season we could of got away with spending big and getting those players in that we dearly needed. However if we are to play by the rules how can we afford to spend the needed funds on new acquisitions whilst not be selling any of the top players?

Fair enough we could do a Man City and illegally pump money into the club by selling highly overinflated naming rights to a company directly linked to Lewis, but I don’t like the idea of this. The doddering old fools at FA and UEFA have let one club do it (City), but I doubt they will allow another.

So where does this leave us? Does this mean we must sell Bale in order to bring in the fresh faces? In my opinion I would rather rot away in the Championship!

It does however raise an interesting question as to our new buys in the summer. Will Lewis and Levy use this as an excuse for not buying the much needed players?

Well there is the option that we could pay the fee's off over a period of time (24 or 36 months), but is this really a viable option? We base those payments out on what is currently coming in, so any change in circumstances could cause us serious issues. I could be wrong though, maybe many clubs do this and keep to paying for the players over prolonged periods and no one is paying in full anymore? Ok other than the Billionaire Playboys!

For me I think we have missed the boat a bit. I know all the clubs are coming out and stating that they will be spending big or already have, but maybe they cannot due to the rules and regulations? For me last season was big and there certainly was time to purchase for AVB, however Levy & Lewis decided against this.

Let's hope that we too have a backhanded way of dealing with this limp Fair Play rulings as we know City have already got away with it!
