Hulk smashing his way to the Lane?

Last updated : 08 November 2013 By Hoggg

In a recent interview with Twentyfour7 Hulk makes a slight come and get me plea (at best).

I had said it at the time and I refuse to go back on it, but moving to Russia is a big mistake for most talented footballers. Hulk was no exception (as it was for the other Brazilian that shall remain unnamed) and found it difficult to fit in and had many a public fallout with the coach. In his first season he managed a pitiful 4 goals in 13 appearances. However this season Hulk has hit the floor running with 9 goals in 13 appearances.

So to say that Hulk has made a clear come and get me plea I feel is ridiculous. In fact to clear this up here is what the forward said;

"I learned a lot with Andre Villas-Boas at Porto, he is very intelligent tactically. He was almost so well informed about the opponents that we pretty much knew everything about them when we went out on to the pitch.

"It was scary how much we knew.

"I am really happy Villas-Boas is making a mark in England, and it would be fantastic to play under him again one day."

I see that he wants to work with AVB, but I do not see where he says he wants to play at Spurs or even in England.

Hulk is supposedly "available" at £25million, but to me it would be a waste.

At the moment our forwards are not the problem, it is a midfield that is learning and settling. Once the midfield have had the necessary time to gel we will see less of Soldado with his back to goal and more of those balls across the 6 yard box with him banging them in.

Sorry Hulk but you can smash your own way somewhere else!
