I do not accept this. He states that the passion, hunger and drive was there.. really? What game was he watching?
The game lacked composure, passion, drive, hunger & imagination, essentially all the things that is the players input not the managers!
The one criticism that I would say is that Holtby is not starting, other than that I don't see what else was wrong? After going a goal down and Dawson's injury he went on the attack, but the lads failed to do something in the final third.
It’s nice to see the manager step up and say “it’s my fault”, but you have to ask where our players pride is; to let AVB take the responsibility.
I will not stand back and allow our players to skulk off in AVB's shadow without holding their hands up!
Seeing AVB say that angered me and I feel it’s important to stick up for the right people at the right time. It’s a shame that the players don't have the backbone to all stand up and shoulder some of the blame!
Ok ranting over there and I can honestly say I will not be moaning about the result any more now, but I hope you can all see my point as to why I am writing this.
