So over 9 seasons Gomez has managed to keep a goal ratio of .597, which is a great return and someone that would be a steal at the reported £7million price tag.

Bayern are likely to be spending big this season with Pep wanting to put a stamp on the team (Gotze already signed for €32+million, it’s going to be a much stronger team).

Back to the task on hand. Would you have Gomez in the team? Is £7million sounding like the sort of figure that Levy could sign a world class striker for? I would love to say yes but it is unlikely that Gomez would be available for so little.

Bring on the big guns though Levy!

Gomez's agent has stated that he expects to see his client future resolved in a couple of days, so it’s likely that much of the transfer has been put in place already.
