Ok so the names coming out are starting to get better and show that there is more experience out there. The true concern is that according to the media sources the only ones in the running seems to be AVB and Blanc?

I am still yet to see Bilic's name linked to us (especially seems as he is Croatian and expected someone to link because of Modric)?

However way you look at it I think Bilic is not a bad candidate and is up there with Blanc and ahead of AVB, however I still think that Levy is missing a trick with Frank Rijkaard.

Anyway back to Blanc. His first season as a manager saw him take Bordeaux to 2nd and saw him win the Manager of the year award (2007). 2008 was better as Bordeaux won the title (setting a record for 11 consecutive wins in the Ligue 1) and also won the Coupe de la Ligue, which is why France handed him the reigns for France. He was a candidate for Manager of the Year again, but was beaten.

So to cut a long story short is this man the fans favourite as to who we have been linked to? My answer is yes I would prefer Blanc to any of the other candidates as I believe it would be a step in the right direction, but lets not get ahead of our selves and see where we go next on this lovely manager merry-go-round.
