Juventus and Tottenham in talks for swap

Although Lamela has been a regular in MoPo's team (for the 2014-2015 season) it is whispered that Levy could be interested in letting the Argentine leave if most of the £30million paid could be recouped.

Where the story thickens is that Llorente is surplus to requirements at the Turin club and Juve have contacted Tottenham over any interest.

Given that Llorente is now 30 I cannot see that this deal would be of interest especially if Llorente is offered as part of any deal (purely based on his age), however what should be factored in is that his distinct lack of pace will be a problem whilst acclimatising to the EPL (and it's only going to get worse).

For me I am thoroughly undecided over Lamela who has shown signs of genius at times and others a lack of direction and purpose. As for Llorente I just don't see the point any more, 28 was an ideal age, 2 years down the line and a lack of match practice last season will stop the striker having any chance of adapting to the fast pace of the premier league.

If Tottenham were to get the £30million for Erik... maybe it would be worth a deal, but issue is who do you spend it on?
