Marca report that Bale has been tapped up

Last updated : 27 July 2013 By Hoggg

The story obviously has two sides. In either Tap'em Up Madrid has actually tapped up Bale against Tottenham's wishes by discussing his salary if he did transfer to Madrid, or that Marca and Tap'em Up Madrid are specifically attempting to unsettle the player by releasing lies.

From what I hear it seems similar to the Sol Campbell deal in which Levy had lied to Campbell about allowing him to leave if a suitable offer came in (however I will never live Campbell’s actions and behavior down). So if this is the case it could be that Levy has a habit of acting unprofessionally and coursing players to leave.

Then I hear that there is proof that Tap'em Up Madrid have in fact given Marca a "story" and both parties are in cahoots as to putting false/ fabricated stories out to specifically unsettle the player.

Either way Tottenham are showing their weakness. If the stories have any truth behind them then Levy must release a statement, if the stories are fabricated as widely expected then Spurs should be launching a full legal case against Tap'em Up Madrid.

Where are UEFA in all this? Spurs have said he's not for sale but illegal approaches have been made according to Marca. If UEFA are the authority no complaint should have to be made for UEFA to take action when they see illegal activity publically flaunted.

It shows that it is all about money not just for Tap'em Up Madrid, but also for all football authorities from national (FA) to European and up to FIFA. The game is being allowed to fall into complete disarray and it's the likes of Tap'em Up Madrid that makes this even worse. It is typical however of Platini and UEFA to sit on their hands as they even allow racism against the country to be publically announced and no action is taken against the culprits despite complaints that are backed up with proof.

Everything that is wrong with the game starts with the authorities and stems down through to the clubs that are allowed to break the rules and publically.

If you ask me Perez should be banned from being involved in any part of a football club as he is no better than a criminal, difference is that the authorities allow him to continue to get away with it.

If Spurs refuse to put a complaint in we will remain to look weak and in fact make the stories from Marca look genuine. If we couple this with the fact that Bale has not been included in the Barclays Asia Trophy it looks very bad.

A club official announcement must be made as to what is actually happening and what action is being taken. The fans are dividing and angered by what seems seems to be lies from Levy. We must show our strength we gave in to Tap'em Up Madrid before and why should we allow them to continue.

COYS!!!
