Mexico's finest not heading to WHL

I am sure we all recognise this name from a cameo season at Birmingham back in the 2009 - 2010 season. His shirt name will help Chucho!

Those that do not remember the name (other than recent paper talk) I would certainly forgive you. In 30 appearances this "striker" managed just 3 goals! Yes that 2 less than Adebayor and 5 games more. Ok so the player was only 23 upon his arrival from the Mexican league, but with a record of 14 goals in 20 league appearances (in the previous season) you could forgive Birmingham for taking a chance on the guy.

Either way the player was caught out very quickly (just like George Weah's "cousin" who played for Southampton). Ok he wasn't that bad, but his record in the EPL speaks for itself.

Buying a player from a league such as Mexico it is a huge risk as the difference in the leagues and player's levels are ridiculous. He is no Chicharito!

Although the striker has managed 30 goals in 43 appearances I can guarantee you that the one cameo performance certainly did enough to put the likes of any top 6 club off of the player.

When there are the likes of Villa, Benteke, Soldado and Damiao being linked to Tottenham you really do have to ask the press what on earth they are playing at with this one? Saying that, it is only the Mirror after all haha.

COYS!!!
