My sources confirm that all of our stars are set to stay and I believe this to also be the case. Moan or argue all you want, but the facts are simple.
1. Levy has said Modric is staying form day 1
2. Modric has not stated he is leaving Tottenham
3. Tottenham nor Real Madrid (who always go public) have never confirmed any talks
4. Modric's agent has never been interviewed to confirm this
5. Real Madrid have an abundance of Midfielders that are as good if not better than Luka
6. Chelsea (who are as vocal in transfers as Madrid) have made no confirmations and have been spending money elsewhere
7. Man Utd have purchased Kagawa and have cheaper options rather than paying the quoted figures of what Levy expects
8. Reports now state that Real Madrid have cooled their interest. Meaning the original sources have now turned out to be untrue and the media are back tracking
So in all Levy has not changed his stance and the same would go for VDV one of the integral parts of Tottenham's strengthening skeleton.
Levy has grown in terms of a chairman and it is the 1 true thing I have always really had any faith in, he won't sell to the complete detriment of the club. So to sum up Levy's stance has not changed in selling his stars, no clubs are currently in for the Modric, VDV or Bale and the players have not stated they will be joining any other club.
So say what you want but I am just off to William Hill to see what odds I can get, however I will certainly be eating my hat should it all go Pete Tong, but you have to go on record at some point and test your sources.
