New Signing confirms Bale Stay

Last updated : 29 June 2013 By Hoggg

Expected new arrival Paulinho has given his clearest indication of moving to WHL.... and just as good news that he was told Bale would be staying.

I believe that this news began successful negotiations, as soon as Paulinho knew Bale was staying it was just a formality it seems.

In his most revealing interview to date (potentially his last before confirming his move to Tottenham next week), this is what Paulinho had to say;

"It is important for the team and for the Brazilian fans that at the moment all my focus is on winning the Confederations Cup.

"But after the tournament is finished I hope it is a deal that can get finalised quickly.

"To play in England for a great team like Tottenham is a dream. What I respect about Tottenham is the ambition they have shown.

"This summer there has been interest in their coach and their best player - and they have been clear they are both not going anywhere."

Well can it really get any clearer to anyone out there? Does anyone at Real Madrid still think that they are getting Bale this summer? By the looks of it all that tapping up was a pointless exercise, that has just weakened Madrid's strangle hold.

So guys and gals can we please feel reassured now? Let's face it Bale went away with everything in hand for a great summer break. Where best to get away from it all the U.S. (likely where he could avoid the usual press).

All good things come to those that wait I guess fellow Spurs Fans.
