In my mind I hope that it is that Spurs have seen common sense and agreed to do some kind of exchange involving Lavezzi.
Ok yes we all know that he has been linked to Spurs for some time and that nothing ever seemed likely to happen, however in my world it would make sense as to why the deal hasn't been concluded.
If the reason for the delay is not down to money as suggested, but more about the players agreeing then it would represent a fantastic swap deal for both parties.
This is 100% speculation and I am not suggesting that this is about to happen, but there is always a possibility in these situations.
