Sneijder wants England move

However many people are unsure of what to believe.

Sneijder's agent had supposedly said that there were no advanced talks between his player and Tottenham, but what wasn't said is that there were in fact talks on going. The difference is that Sneijder is playing the waiting game to see who is interested and what is on offer.

He has now confirmed that he will be leaving in January and wants to play in England (after playing in the other elite leagues in Europe who can blame him).

So it is all falling into place there are no offers other than that of Tottenham and all involved with Sneijder are trying to make sure that they get top dollar with Tottenham.

As you can see even the likes of QPR have been used to create urgency for the transfer, but already Sneijder has been sensible to come out and state that he won't play for them.

On the situation at Inter Sneijder admits himself that either he or Etoo had to go to balance the books. Etoo left so there was no need for Inter to sell Sneijder, however they thought they could get him onto a cheaper contract. If they had of paid him his signing on fee this may not of been a problem, but with that outstanding the player was never going to agree to a drop in wages as well.

Now Inter have seen the mistake and realise that he will be released from his contract (or a small nominal fee will be paid). Arsenal can't compete (they have just increased 5 players contracts and trying to keep Walcott), City are reducing their wage bill and dont have the room, Chelsea don't have the room (and have just added several similar players) and Utd won't want to spend out on the wages (whether he is free or not). So technically it leaves Spurs and Liverpool and we knowLiverpool have dropped behind too much, so it leaves 1 option if he comes to England.

Either way I have been calling it for a while and even if the deal doesn't go through we were close and we know that the player is interested!
