As you should know by now I love my stats and I have taken to Squawka to see how the youngster performed last season.
In all honesty it is not good reading! There are 15 players above him (in the Inter squad) on the stats and a notable one is Sneijder who only played 5 games compared to Guarin's 32 and still Sneijder has more points!
There are many things that make up these stats but here is the list;

As far as I am concerned this player may have been good but since his move to Inter he has not lived up to his potential. If you look in our squad even the likes of Tom Huddlestone has managed to amass 340 points and in 20 appearances and is he worth €25million? Ok let's put this in to perspective even further Ade made 25 appearances and got 209 points. How many fans were happy with Ade's performance? He cost us £5million and we are very unhappy about this.
For me I cannot believe that this is a deal worth doing. I would rather have Nani for £7million, at least we know that he is adjusted to the EPL.
This transfer makes no sense and I cannot imagine that Levy offered anywhere near the values mentioned (if at all). I doubt we have even made an approach for the player in all fairness.
There are much better players out there and for a lot less money.
Let's just be honest with ourselves, Inter likely want to sell and have manufactured this story to put his price out there. We have been linked as we were linked with him previously, but I couldn't care a less about this player. The price quoted is ridiculous and as far as I am concerned Bentley and Bent were better value for their money compared to Guarin.
So calm yourselves let's not panic too much, if anything is to happen on him it will involve a loan deal first, which is not mentioned in any reports.
