There are no stadium guarantee's

However I must point out that at no point does Levy actually state that the tender is even going out this year.

The delays have been placed on the public enquiry, what a surprise that again it's nothing to do with Tottenham football club or people they employ to get the job done.

In terms of a guarantee the only thing that is mentioned is:

""We cannot stress strongly enough how critical the new stadium is over the long term to these raised expectations."

Well that doesn't take a genius to work out as the fans have been saying it for years. The new stadium was a back up plan that Levy didn't really have intention of following through, thus the timing taken to essentially build a college and a supermarket.

Compulsory Purchase Order's are no simple things I accept that, however they go as quickly as the applicant wants, sometimes it means greasing the wheels that little bit more, however this is something Levy was never keen to do.

Phase 1 of the development should have always included the stadium completion (if it was all about the club), a supermarket, hotel and new apartments could have followed later, however that could show some business acumen in that the sale and long term rental of the commercial and residential units would help to pay for some of the development.

Back to the first point and that there is 0 guarantee and no 100% commitment from Levy. What Levy chooses to concentrate on is the profit building each year, the gate receipts building each year and then some wishy washy over worded statement that does not give more than a 50% committal to the new stadium. Sure he states the club needs it, but he said it himself he hopes to get the tender out this year and if that happened they would expect to move into the new stadium by 2017. Well those are a lot of maybe's that I sure as hell woulldn’t bet on!

Again we must remind ourselves this pile of non committal over worded drivel only states that a new stadium is needed, but are hopeful that we focus on what they want (which is the profit, gate receipts and fan base all growing). If you truly wanted any growth a stadium would have already begun!

Hopefully the rest of you are not as easily fooled as the backstabbing Chairman hopes.

Plus it's all good having a bigger stadium, but you have to fill it and the board and staffs antics on the pitch will not be doing anything to convince more fans to attend the games.

The club essentially died after Bale left, it was inevitable as Levy was more interested in balancing the books than creating a solid squad with continuity. Bale was the only thing that was painting over the cracks that most fans saw. With no Bale and no one scoring the goals being leaked are highlighted further. Playing the lads out of position, playing young under qualified and under experienced players when a tried and tested war machine sits on the bench highlights the stupidity that Levy encourages with a cheap option. Although this article is firmly anti Levy it does not mean that I allow the players to get off scot free..... FAR FROM IT

I will continue to support my club, but I no longer have support for Levy, the staff or those money grabbing poor excuse for players (that play when they can be bothered to).

Come on lads the fans deserve much more than you are giving and this is known through and through.
