Transfer genius Levy pulls off major signings

Last updated : 20 August 2013 By Hoggg

So far Levy & Co have splashed out £60million in transfers and broke their own club record twice. However it doesn't end there.

Transfers in (when we sign Willian and Lamela) will exceed £120 million which may seem ridiculous plus keeping Bale and building a stadium, impossible most would say, you'd be right.

Let me explain where Levy's master class has come in. We have brought in approximately £20million for sales of players to date taking the spend to £100million.

But would we have paid a premium for players if the world knew we agreed a sale for Bale? Of course. So we secure all our signings first (with a deal for Bale in place) then we recoup near enough the full spend from the sale of Bale. Plus then the potential of Fabio being included in the deal and we have pulled off (likely) the best summer transfer window know to the Premier League.

Thoughts people? Was it the right move? Have we spent wisely? Has the sale if one man taken is up 2 levels?

Only time will tell.
