Non League Star Shilow Tracey has been signed by MoPo as they look to strengthen their youth squad.
The 17 yr old had been on a 2 day trial initially and later meet up with the youth squad in Florida for a tournament.
The youngster has been compared to Jamie Vardy (but understand this is prely as the youngster has been signed from Ebbsfleet).
Although it is not the striking transfer that the club are in need of (competition or backup for Kane) it shows that MoPo still firmly believes in bringing youth through the ranks.
What impressed the coaches?
The striking sensation scored against Jacksonville and Baltimore and handled himself in both games that it showed that the youngster should be signed.
There were several other premier league clubs looking at the youngster so Spurs moved quickly to tie up a deal with Ebbsfleet and Tracey.
For me the verdict is so far off its not worth thinking about, but let's hope the 17 yr old makes quick progress for us to see him in the first team quickly.
