VDV is staying

Firstly he was linked to Italy, then Germany and now some clever clogs released Man Utd are going to bid for him (after a statement was made by AVB that VDV is staying).

It does make me laugh, but I suppose that people do have to sell their papers at the end of the day.

Anyway the situation is this, AVB wants VDV to stay and said this upon arrival. VDV then stated he wanted to stay and this was also on AVB's arrival. The difference now is that because AVB is getting rid of players that he feels no longer fit his squad. VDV however fits right into his squad as AVB likes to play with 1 striker (thus the concern of we will make do with 2 recognised strikers and 1 youngster). So with VDV fitting into the plans perfectly there is unlikely to be any change.

Yes we are disappointed to see Huddlestone go out (but its on loan, to get his fitness back), yes we would be disappointed to see Dawson go too, but times change.

I was asked a very important question by someone this week;

"Would any of the top 4 clubs buy Dawson or Huddlestone?"

The response is simply no, on a free they may snap Dawson up as a squad member, but that is as far as it goes. On the flip side to this comment if I was asked to ship off Gallas or Dawson I would have to let Gallas go, but AVB has other ideas and I would like to give the guy the benefit of the doubt.

I am looking forward to the next few days as reported before I expect further movement in the market and Lloris is still also on the radar folks.

Come on you Spurs!!!!
