Its simple really, I expect a season or so of building (I expect a push for the top 4, but not a definate). Then I would see AVB pushing on and buidling a squad with the players capable of winning the title, whilst having players that are fully commited. All dependent on the support of course.
In this time I expect to see the dead wood cleared out and better players replacing them. Pav (although I liked him) was cleared out, but no replacement was bought in (which cost us in the hunt for the 3rd last season). So its all about out with the old and in with the new.
AVB is a good young manager, but will get better. The journalists had written that we have got a top manager, on the cheap, with a huge point to prove. If he gets the support he will come good and show why RA was completely wrong to bring him into Chelsea with a plan in place and not have the shiney disco balls to carry it out.
I just hope that Levy does not bottle it as RA did and mess the club up completely.
But thats just my opinion, what about you guys?
