Where we are going wrong

All clubs that have the sense, do their homework throughout the year and have their shopping lists prepared before the season is out. The clever ones go one step further and have their deals tied up either before the window opens or just as it opens.

In order to change a poor run we must look at how to handle our transfer policy.

I thought the appointment of Baldini would have seen witness to some faster transactions. Some questions have been asked of Baldini and some say he has his work cut out for him. So why is that it seems as Paulinho is the only target we are actually dealing with? I don't see this as true and I really expect to see some transfers coming in, but I still expect it faster. With a reputation like Baldini you would expect the guy to know who he wants and to apply it to his club's ranking with ease.

I think it is due to the pain that as fans we have had to endure over the years that makes me expect a change and want it.

Having written about this before I thought it would have changed by now, but Levy & Co are not about surprises.

Let's hope that this is the season, it needs to be as we really messed up last season and the lack of support in January really did show (this time Levy & Co had no excuses to use).
