Willian, Damiao and Lloris to sign

But is all this true? Are we about to sign the Olympics top goal scorer, France's No. 1 Goalkeeper and a forgotten name that possess as much talent as Modric?

Ok rather than getting carried away firstly lets look at something AVB had said in interview earlier this week, the sale of Luka Modric does not control the transfer budget. So basically I am reading this as saying that Levy has managed to sucure as much investment into Spurs as needed to now finance the new revolution.

If this is to be true then potentially we are in for a BIG ride. EA Sports, Carlsberg, Betfred and Under Armor are just a few of the recently signed  corporations that will help to stretch the clubs name across many different mediums and create a large revenue stream. I am happy with these as it seems that rather than raising the funds by the sale of players that we are concentrating on seeing how else we can raise funds... COYS. However the Modric sale will help to balance those books. The sales from last year that we did not use have now been spent on the purchase of Sigurdsson, Vertonghen and Adebayor, so the new money in is for fresh targets.

The reports are spreading like wild fire that DL has flown to Brazil to speak with Internacional about signing Damiao. Potentially this has some legs as we have publically admitted to an interest to the player and no one from Inter have released a statement to deny these "talks", so I am reasonably optimistic that this has some legs to it, however this will certainly be an expensive acquisition.

Then it was released within a matter of an hour (last night) and then it was all over the internet that Willian was a target. He had said bearing in mind that Arsenal was a club that he wanted to go to and that he would play at Spurs. So we were second choice at the time, but with the likes of Chelsea now investing elsewhere there is a good opportunity that this could turn out for the best. He has previously stated that he would love to help Spurs achieve Champions League football again and I believe that this is a true replacement for Luka. Potentially his contract runs out tomorrow (unless there was a 1 yr extension that Shaktar activated?).

But HOLD IT..... those are the transfers that are going to happen (supposedly regardless of Modric's sale), but here is the cream on the cake ladies and gents.... Hugo Lloris. France's captain has told Lyon that he wants to leave and his father even stated that once the sale of Modric went through that he expects to see his son move to London with Spurs.

Now if this is the case it can only be a matter of time. Real Madrid had already placed Luka on their website as a squad player, as Spurs did with Adebayor, so the Luka deal must be a done deal and that would mean another keeper in Lloris.

Now I don't know about the rest of you, but this is how the transfer in could stand if we get our targets;

Adebayor

Damiao

Willian

Sigurdsson

Fryers

Vertonghen

Lloris

Now if that is not enough to wet your appetite I don't know what is, becuase that would prove one of the most successful transfers markets in our premier league history. However I am sceptical of Damiao and Lloris is not a must (maybe Jan or next summer) so even without those names I would be happy, but not satisfied.

Either way hold on to your hats sports fans this transfer train is about to go into overdrive.

Come on you Spurs!!!
