Willian deal at final stages

Last updated : 23 August 2012 By Hog

Willian (a long term target for Chelsea) has been linked rather suddenly for Spurs, or rather it has came out all of a sudden (seemingly out of nowhere, but talks have been ongoing for sometime).

AVB has been a long term admirer of the Brazilian attacker and saw numerous bids turned down by Shakhtar whilst at Chelsea. The confusing thing is that according to what was published about his contract it has now expired? So why is there a fee to pay? There's something else to it.

Either way Spurs have had 2 bids rejected so far and Shakhtar are holding on for an offer of around £20million. It is highly likely that Shakhtar and Spurs will agree a fee with both clubs wanting a deal to be done (Shakhtar know that this is the best time for a sale for their prize asset).

The deal may conclude as quickly as the weekend, but sources are unclear as to how far apart the 2 clubs are on the fee.

I for one am on an emotional rollercoaster ride with Levy up down up down, its easy to complain when you don't know what is going on behind the scene's and this passionate support needs to tell himself that more often. Come on Levy lets get the big names in now and show them what we are really about. We must have a skeleton for the team and add in where we are weak and as it stands a strong one is being built as we speak.

Come on you Spurs!!!
