However, Redknapp has insisted that Bale will not be sold. The Spurs boss told The Daily Mirror: "The club will be offering Bale a new contract.
"He has come on bundles in recent months and he deserves it.
"He's a fantastic young player with a great future and we would be mad to think about selling him."
