The Egyptian striker was reported to have taken a knock in training on Tuesday. He missed Tottenham's fourth round Carling Cup tie in midweek.
Spurs boss Martin Jol said: "A cyst on Mido's knee was an old injury but when he was back at Roma it wasn't bothering him."
