The Gunners face annual interest charges of around £15 million a year until 2020, which even after a better than usual Champions League campaign by their standards this year will eat into Arsene Wenger's budget.
The Gunners have borrowed £260 million from a group of six banks headed by the Royal Bank of Scotland to build the Emirates Stadium at Ashburton Grove.
