Defoe delight...

Jermain Defoe has expressed his pleasure at the start he has made at the club and praised his teammates for their response to last week's cup embarassment. He said, 'The players have given a great response. It shows that we have character in the squad'. He then went to add, on his own performances, ''I am delighted with my start. I'll have to keep my head down, keep working and hopefully it will carry on'.
