Dele Alli Held at Knifepoint During Robbery at His London Home

Dele Alli has been left minor facial injuries after robbers broke into his north London home and robbed him at knifepoint during the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The Tottenham midfielder was isolating at home when he and those in the house were attacked by two home invaders.

Alli is said to have be at his house with his brother, their two partners and a long-term friend when the terrifying ordeal took place, as the two men broke in through the rear of the house armed with knives.

Alli suffered a punch to the face during the horrific incident, with the Daily Mail revealing a 'scuffle' took place between all those involved. Fortunately, no one was seriously harmed. The robbers then proceeded to steal a variety of valuables, including jewellery and watches.

CCTV camera footage from the incident has been sent off to the police in order to help aid with the investigation.

Jose Mourinho was expected to invite his Tottenham players back to training next week as the Premier League aims to return for a 12 June restart, but the frightening incident will put all those thoughts to one side as police search for those involved.

Alli and the other victims who he's been living with during lockdown are said to be 'shaken'.

A police spokesman said: "Police were called at approximately 00:35hrs on Wednesday, 13 May to reports of a robbery at a residential address Barnet.

"Two males gained entry to the property and stole items of jewellery, including watches, before fleeing.

"One male occupant of the property, aged in his 20s, suffered a minor facial injury after being assaulted. He did not require hospital treatment. No arrests; enquiries into the circumstances continue."
